Love Island's Priya 'sabotages' her own chances of staying in villa right before crunch vote

Love Island star Priya was left wishing she'd kept her cards closer to her chest, after admitting she was "bored" by Brett, minutes before all of the Islanders were told to vote for their least compatible couples.

Last week, viewers saw sparks fly between Priya and Matthew before Brett made his surprise entrance as the cast returned from another dumping at the Island Vibes Club.

While Matthew felt confident that Priya would pick him, after enjoying a date with Brett, she switched her affections to the model and PHD student, sending Matthew home as a result.

But, as the boys cooked a three course meal for the girls on Sunday's Love Island, Priya turned to the other girls, while Brett was out of ear shot, to say she was "bored."

Elaborating, she said if their date was on the outside world, she wouldn't be planning a second one.

Mary was quick to tell Aaron what Priya had said, right before Toby got a text telling the Islanders they had to nominate their two least favourite couples.

And, having just heard what Priya said about Brett, their names were on the lips of many of their fellow Islanders when it came to picking someone.

In the end they received five votes, and with Liberty and Jake, Faye and Teddy and Mary and Aaron each getting three, they were all put up for the public vote - with viewers asked to choose who to save.

One viewer reacted: "oop bad timing for priya to say she’s bored of brett," and, in agreement, another took to Twitter to post: "Priya has PLAYED HERSELF."

A third tweeted: "Priya is gonna regret telling the girls she’s bored lmao"

The results of the public vote will be revealed on Monday's Love Island at 9pm on ITV2.
