Love Island's Paige Thorne returns to paramedic job amid Adam Collard split rumours

Paige Thorne has returned for her first shift back as a paramedic since leaving the Love Island villa during the summer.

The 24-year-old Love Island star from Swansea finished fifth on the ITV2 dating show alongside Adam Collard.

The pair became official partners since returning to the UK from the Majorcan villa but their relationship is currently on the rocks after rumours that Adam may have cheated on Paige.

After Love Island, Paige has been determined to go back to her paramedic job despite wracking up over one million Instagram followers and a number of offers to be an influencer, she has stuck to her guns.

She shared a video of her returning to work and sharing a joke with her colleagues as she warns that they could be on camera as she films what goes on at work.

Paige had put being a paramedic on hold while she spent time in the Love Island villa but she looked like she hadn't been away despite admitting to being "nervous" as well as being "super excited".

She said as she showed her Instagram fans the paramedic uniform she was wearing: "So, as you can see I’m back in my uniform, I’m about to be doing my first shift back.

"A little part of me is nervous because it’s been so long since I’ve been off, but more than anything, I’m super excited to be back, back with my team, back doing what I absolutely love, what I’m passionate about, what I’m comfortable with, I just know it’s gonna be a great shift."

She then tapped her head saying for good luck "’touching wood".

In another video that Paige loaded to her Instagram Stories, the paramedic showed what’s in her bag.

The kit, which every paramedics s included oxygen, medicines, and cannulations.

She told those watching that this was all a paramedic needs to get the job done when tending to patients.
