Love Island's Ovie shocks islanders with claim that 'lizards rule the world'

Love Island's Ovie Soko revealed himself to be a 'conspiracy theorist' after passionately declaring 'lizards run the world'.

The usually cool and collected nature of Ovie was lost after Chris Taylor spoke about certain celebrities being 'secret lizards'.

In footage seen on Love Island Unseen Bits on Saturday night, Ovie shocked some of his fellow islanders when he 'came to life' to agree that lizards were the secret power running the world.

Ovie declared: "Lizard people f***ing run the world! Reptilians!’

"All the richest, famous, biggest mother****ers in the world. Reptilians."

Tommy Fury was beaming in agreement, as he had previously made a similar declaration about those in power across the globe.

Ovie continued: "I swear to God they’re f***ing reptilians! It’s a fact. They’ve just learned how to mask themselves as human and blend into society."

He drew the line at agreeing the Queen was a reptile but said that before coming into the villa he had been looking into the 'phenomenon' in which people 'morph' back into reptiles 'when their guard is down'.

It was all too much for Amber Gill who went to the Beach Hut to share her confusion at what she had just seen.

She asked: "How is this a thing? How is this s***e a thing?"

Amber continued to say: "What the hell is going on here? I love a conspiracy theory but I was like, 'where the hell has this come from?'"

It was certainly a topic that had Love Island viewers taking to Twitter to discuss Ovie's declaration.

For many though, this was just the kind of talk that cemented him in the hearts of the viewers.
