Love Island’s Olivia unveils striking hair transformation after hate over slicked-back locks

Olivia Hawkins has undergone a brand-new hair transformation which has left her feeling more like herself than ever.

The Love Island beauty, 28, who has been teased over her villa hairstyle since being dumped from the show, has made it her mission to show off a different look after her whirlwind experience in South Africa.

During her time in the villa, ring-girl Olivia stuck to a signature hairstyle - which some eagle-eyed viewers found fault with.

Most nights, Olivia chose to style her hair away from her face in a tight ponytail in a half-up half-down style which fans soon grew tired of while watching the brunette bombshell navigate her way through finding love on the ITV2 dating show.

Since leaving the villa and getting wind of how Love Island viewers slated her signature hairstyle, Olivia appears to have made the decision to switch things up as she has debuted a brand-new look - which has gone down a treat with her adoring fans.

Olivia, who left Love Island last week alongside beau, Maxwell Samuda, 23, has since treated herself to a pamper session in the hairdressers as she tended to her tresses after two months in the villa.

Following her treatment, Olivia told fans that she was 'feeling herself again' as she showcased her glossy locks.

Poking fun at herself following the backlash to her slicked back hairstyle while in the villa, Liv added: "Note to Liv - No more gelling the hair back. I promise I will be nicer to my hair from now on."

It comes as it seems as though lovebirds Olivia and Maxwell's relationship has gone from strength to strength since leaving the villa.

The couple, who paired up after Maxwell entered Casa Amor, were dumped from the show at the start of March, after being voted the ‘least compatible couple’ by viewers.

However, it seems like they’re on track to prove their doubters wrong after revealing plans for a romantic holiday - and that they’ve started to meet each other’s families.

Speaking to the The Sun, Olivia said: "We are planning a holiday together. Somewhere romantic would be nice. When we flew back from the villa, we stopped over in Amsterdam, and thought, it would be nice to have a little holiday together. Just the two of us."
