Love Island's Olivia and Maxwell pick two other contestants to leave the villa

With Love Island viewers left shocked as Olivia and Maxwell were dumped from the villa during last night's episode, it seemed there was a lot more twists and turns in store tonight (Thursday, March 3). On Wednesday, presenter Maya Jama crashed the beach club party to reveal that Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda received the least amount of votes from the public.

"Obviously it is sad to leave these guys but I found what I came looking for, so I’m happy to be leaving with him," Olivia told Maya when asked how she felt. However, in a huge twist the presenter then revealed two more contestants would also be making their exit.

She said: "Olivia and Maxwell are not the only ones leaving. Two more islanders will also be dumped tonight. That decision is not down to the public or your fellow islanders, it’s actually down to you, Olivia and Maxwell."

The Islanders then looked on in shock and the episode ended before Olivia and Maxwell's decision had been aired. Thursday's episode started with the pair deliberating before finally revealing their decision to the other couples in the villa.

"It's been very difficult to make this decision," Olivia said. "There are so many options we could've gone for." However, the couple announced the two other contestants that would be leaving with them were Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand.

Despite Olivia saying that she was sorry to have to choose the two contestants, the islander said she was happy with the decision and added: "I'm going to see my mum". Ahead of her departure, Olivia said to the group: "I just want to say a big thank you to all of you for being such a big part of my journey. My sisters, I'm going to miss you so much. I know you'll miss me telling you straight how it is, but I will never change!"
