Love Island's new romances blossom as one pair share their first kiss

Aaron Simpson and Priya Gopaldas have only been in the Love Island villa for just over 24 hours, but they have been working hard grafting for the attention of the singletons.

Priya takes Matthew MacNabb with her to the gym and they hit it off instantly, with the duo clearly both into one another.

They set up a burpee competition between themselves and both of them are soon falling hard for one another.

The medical student admits: "I had to shut my jaw. It’s like mouth open, admiring the piece of art that is his body!"

Matthew told his fellow Islanders: "There’s so much substance in her conversations and she is beautiful. I was looking at her eyes and I was like, holy s***! Even in the gym there, I was like, this is like a carbon copy of me!

"What’s coming across to me is she’s ambitious, she’s very caring, she’s spontaneous, she’s very smart… the more I talk to her the more I’m learning and like, 'Woah this is getting stronger.'"

Matthew also confesses Priya is the "whole package" for him.

Speaking in the Beach Hut, he explained: "Priya’s the whole package, it’s crazy. Every time I talk to her I learn another trait to her that’s a positive."

Things also seem to be hotting up for Aaron and blonde beauty Mary Bedford as they finally share their first kiss.

As she headed off for a date with Aaron, she hoped he wouldn't be "another footballer" as her ex used to play the game too.

But she seems to have had had a change of heart today as she admitted she "wants to be in love again".

She told the Islanders: "I love love. I want to be in love again. It’s the best feeling in the world.

"Seeing you lot, I’m like when’s my person going to come in? This is a good step in the right direction. When you genuinely love someone that much you’re yourself and they’re your best friend."

Aaron even treats Mary to a sweet brunch, delivered to the day bed with the help of his pals in the villa.

Mary is quite taken aback by his grand gesture and admits it was the "sweetest thing" anyone has done for her.

She said: "I'm so happy that Aaron was so cute. I think that’s the sweetest thing I think anyone has ever done for me."

The pair even share a cheeky kiss, much to the delight of the fellow Islanders who cheer them on.

Love Island returns to ITV2 and ITV Hub at 9pm tonight.
