The final week of any Love Island series is normally pretty dull, because everyone is happy in their couples and preparing for the final.
Not this time though, as the 2021 series has given more entertainment in the final week than any other series so far.
In fact, one of the series' longest lasting couples who formed on day one have split up for good, just a few days before the final on ITV2.
A major split has never rocked the villa so close to the end before, especially one by an official couple.
Not only that, but the past few days and the last full week of villa action has brought us more rows, showdowns, and villa clashes than ever before.

The series was described as a snoozefest when it started in June, before Casa Amor and a few challenges here and there, including a viewer-voted poll, really kicked things off.
But one twist, not always used, saw the couples having to vote for the two pairings they believed to be the least compatible in the villa, before the public decided who to dump.

For possibly the first time ever, the couples did not vote based on friendships which led to accusations of tactical voting, as well as a series of rows in the days that followed.
We should have known that these scenes at the very start of Love Island 2021's final week could be a sign of what was to come, with the drama yet to die down.
Instead, the villa appears to be torn as to top it all off, Liberty Poole has decided that she and Jake Cornish are not right for each other.

Liberty was shown sobbing about her and Jake's future, before she accused Jake of "not loving her for her" leaving him baffled.
Jake questioned if this was it for them, despite being official boyfriend and girlfriend with matching bracelets and everything - and they mutually agreed to part ways after seven weeks together.

It remains to be seen if they will patch things up ahead of the final, having been together since day one and lasting the entire time until now, with a teaser clip revealing they head off on a final date despite splitting up.
But viewers are predicting the pair will both leave the villa, or at least one of them will, as they gather their fellow Islanders to make an announcement in Friday's episode.
What also isn't known is if another dumping might rock the villa, after two couples have already been ditched this week alone.
There might be no tweet challenge, headline challenge or a lie detector this time around, but the final week has still brought all of the drama regardless.
On Monday night, Aaron Simpson hit out at Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank over the recent vote, leading to heated scenes - but he wasn't the only one verbally lashing out.
Faye Winter screamed at one Islander, Jake, as he smirked at her while she shared her upset at being voted least compatible with partner Teddy Soares, by three couples she deemed her friends.
She had it out with the girls before sobbing over the betrayal, while she confessed the next day that she couldn't drop it completely.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
