It was one of Love Island’s most complained about moments.
After the uproar, producers rested the controversial postcard feature for two series.
But last night trouble stirred once again when the villa received a card showing the girls what their male partners were up to in Casa Amor.
During the series, couples are put to the test when they are divided and introduced to new Islanders to see if their heads will be turned.
In 2018, more than 2,500 people complained to Ofcom after Dani Dyer was shown a misleading
video of partner Jack Fincham ’s behaviour behind her back in the separate villa.
Viewers had seen Jack behave faithfully to Dani and the pair eventually went on to win the series.
In the subsequent two series, no postcards of the contestants were sent as the feature was ditched.
But last night, several contestants including Kaz Kamwi and Faye Winter questioned their loyalties when shown pictures of partners kissing new contestants, while Liberty Poole threw the offending postcard into a swimming pool.
It comes as the family of Liam Reardon – who had a three-way kiss behind partner Millie Fuller’s back – have called for an end to the “vile, vulgar and threatening” messages they are being bombarded with on social media, which have even included death threats sent to Liam’s sister Niamh.
