Love Island's Molly Smith slammed for plugging 'immunity support juices' amid coronavirus crisis

Love Island star Molly Smith has been slammed for plugging a product that apparently boosts your immune system in the middle of the coronavirus crisis.

The reality TV star, who starred in the winter series, was paid to advertise "immunity support juice" on her Instagram on Tuesday.

Her post was slammed as "nonsense" by her angry followers, who slated her for plugging dubious health products while a deadly bug sweeps across the country and the rest of the world.

In the snap, the 25-year-old posed a mint green crop top and matching leggings as she held up a bottle of the juice.

She captioned the post: "I started these @fuelstationuk immunity support juices recently, I'm having 5 juices a day with a shot each morning

"It's helping me pack nutrients into my day but keep my calories low!!

"I'm doing a day of juicing followed by a day of healthy food."

Molly then added the hashtag #ad to made it clear that she'd been paid to post the picture.

The post quickly received negative comments from her followers.

One posted: "I love how some Love Island stars are teturning to care work, or working in the NHS during this pandemic, but Molly here is simply telling everyone to starve themselves, and lose weight by only drinking smoothies for a day - what an inspiration!"

"Out of all the brand deals you choose this rubbish," another commented.

A third said: "Can I ask why? You don't need to drink all this s**t to look good people need to learn to be happy in themselves as they are.

"You can be healthy and eat as you please rather than just juice all day. Such a bad image to promote, have a think will you."
