Love Island's Molly-Mae replaces Maura for appearance at Newcastle night club

At the start of a week that was meant to see her boyfriend also host an event on Tyneside, Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague is all set for a PA at a Newcastle nightclub, replacing a fellow Islander who was lined up to appear.

Molly, finished second on this year's Love Island, along with Tommy Fury and, unlike winners Amber and Greg, they are still very much together.

She is the star guest at Tup Tup Palace in Newcastle city centre on Monday, September 23 as the club and the city welcomes new starters at Newcastle and Northumbria Universities for Freshers Week.

Originally, Molly's fellow Islander Maura Higgins was meant to be partying at Tup Tup , with her appearance announced on the night of the Love Island final, but Tup Tup announced on Facebook that she was no longer going to appear, posting "...sadly due to unforeseen TV commitments Maura will no longer be joining us for now. However Molly Mae saves the day!

"Monday the 23rd of September we have the nations favourite Love island and recent Pretty Little Thing mega star gracing the Palace for a ‘Chin-wag’

"Be it her sexy strut or her blonde bombshell looks we’re sure she will keep everyone in the Palace entertained!"

On Sunday, September 29, Tommy was meant to at the Lancastrian Suite in Gateshead for a talk-in and meet & greet event.

However, this has since been postponed to be "rescheduled at a later date" after, according to organisers, "a major boxing event" was announced at the venue on the original date.
