Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague hits back at vile trolls who branded her 'lardy'

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague refuses to back down against online trolls.

Molly, 21, slammed the digital bullies after they targeted her with nasty comments about photos of her in a bikini.

The influencer, who's getting some sun in Ibiza with boyfriend Tommy Fury, took to Twitter to ask how the trolls can sleep at night.

An outraged fan shared the snaps of Molly and a screengrab selection of the comments, which branded Molly "lardy" and said she had an "awful body."

The fan penned: "These comments are so vile. 'Awful' and 'lardy' is apparently how to describe a normal womans body???"

Love Island stunner Molly retweeted the post, writing herself: "I would genuinely love to know who writes these comments?

"Like how can you actually write s**t like that and sleep at night? Beyond me."

Earlier this year, Molly announced a break from social media after she received trolling following the sad death of her and Tommy's Pomeranian puppy Mr Chai.

And late last year she launched an anti-trolling campaign after finding celebrities she "looked up to and really loved" had joined in on the trolling.

Chatting to the Mirror, Molly told: "Like a Victoria's Secret model who I'd adored for ages joining in on it and it was so hard to see.

"There were a lot of celebs encouraging negativity.

"You'd think they'd understand better than anyone else, you just wouldn't think that would be a thing, you'd think celebrities would understand what it feels like."

She added that she's lucky she has a thick skin.

They narrowly missed out on the top spot to winners Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea.

Since, Molly has carved out an impressive career as an influencer, model and ambassador for PrettyLittleThing.

Tommy, meanwhile, has headed back to the boxing ring and earlier this year even fought in Las Vegas.

Molly shared a gushing tribute to handsome lad Tommy shortly after they marked their one year anniversary in style.

"Honestly isn't normal how much of a good time we have together and never get sick of each other," she wrote.

"Just you and me, laughing until our stomachs hurt every single day."
