Love Island's Molly-Mae arrives in Newcastle and people queue round the block to party with her

The nights might be drawing in now but some serious summer vibes were brought to Newcastle on Monday night when a Love Island star arrived in the city and loads of people flocked to party with her.

It's been nearly two months now since Love Island 2019 came to an end but if the scenes in Newcastle last night are anything to go by, there is still a lot of love out there for its contestants.

On the night of this year's final, Tup Tup Palace announced that would be coming to party there but after "unforeseen TV commitments" forced her to cancel , fellow Islander Molly-Mae Higgins was booked to replaced her.

And Molly-Mae's appearance prompted queues around the block outside the St Nicholas' Street club as loads of people, including plenty of freshers , lined up to get in.

Molly, who is still in a relationship with Love Island other half Tommy Fury, arrived at Tup Tup shortly before 1am dressed in a blazer and thigh high boots, before being escorted to the VIP area.

Videos from Tup Tup Palace's Instagram story showed plenty of people with their mobile phones out to capture Molly-Mae's entrance and then inside the club, all areas were absolutely packed.

On Sunday, September 29, Molly's boyfriend Tommy was meant to at the Lancastrian Suite in Gateshead for a talk-in and meet & greet event.

However, this has since been postponed to be "rescheduled at a later date" after, according to organisers, "a major boxing event" was announced at the venue on the original date.
