Love Island's Mitchell reveals his game plan for 'ex' Molly in tonight's episode, after previously declaring he wanted nothing to do with her.
Fans had been left scratching their heads when Mitchell coupled up with the amateur stage star who had made it clear she was more interested in bombshell Zachariah.
But despite Molly dropping him like a hot stone when Zach arrived, Mitchell ,26, still chose to put Ella and Ruchee in danger on Tuesday when he decided to save Molly.
In Wednesday's instalment, Mitchel tells the boys there was a motive behind his shock move - as he insists he did not pick Molly because he still fancies her.
In a preview for tonight, Mitchell tells Mehdi: “I did that for my boy Zach, I didn’t do that for anyone else but Zach.”
Talking to the boys in the kitchen, he doubles down on his decision: “Friendship, I’ve got you boys.”
Sammy remarks: “The thing is Mitch is saying this, but really you’ve got a secret plan just to get to know Molly now.”
Mitchel replies: “If it doesn’t work out then I definitely did, but if Mol starts liking me again, then a game’s a game…”
Later, Mitchel pulls Molly to one side to discuss his decision to save her but will she change her mind about their relationship?
Meanwhile, the next day, Molly makes her feelings concerning Zachariah very clear.
New bombshell Charlotte is keen to spend some more one-on-one time with Zachariah, working out with him in the outside gym but the pair are soon interrupted by Molly.
The Islander watches on as Zachariah instructs Charlotte on how to do some weighted squats.
Witnessing the scene unfold, Jess comments: " Molly’s doing the most.”
Sammy adds: “If I was Zach, I’d be like go away, give me a minute.”
Challenging her rival and love interest, Molly says: “Right, are we all having a plank off? Go hard or go home."
Last night, Love Island fans fumed over Mitchel's decision to couple up with Molly as one tweeted: "Mitchel could have changed the dynamic of the whole season. He ruined it."
"Molly needs to be standing there!!! Mitchel is the biggest MUG. Ella and Ruchee do not deserve to be sent home," another fan added:
A third wrote: "Mitchel really went from “don’t talk to me again after tonight” to picking molly at the recoupling & wanting to “explore their connection more” in the space of two days. where’s his head gone???"
