Michael Griffiths has opened up about his true feelings for Joanna Chimonides following their secret kiss less than a week ago.
Despite claiming she wouldn't go back there, Joanna ended up cosying up and snogging Michael at a festival last week.
The firefighter from Liverpool, 27, said that while they weren't in a relationship, they still had feelings for each other.
Modeling a pair of trunks on This Morning today, he told hosts Rochelle Humes and Ben Shephard about what life was like outside the villa.
"I feel great, you know," he said. "I've had a great summer and it's been the time of my life, really."
Asked about ex-lover Amber winning, he said: "I'm actually really happy for her."
Ben interjected, saying: "Shouldn't that have been you though, Michael?!"
"It could have been me but me and Amber weren't right together," he replied diplomatically. "We're just friends."
Asked about how he was getting on with "lovely Joanna" and whether they were "kissing or not kissing", Michael laughed.
He said: "We haven't really had the chance to see what's going on between us."
Michael confirmed that they weren't together but said: "I've still got feelings for her, she's still got feelings for me. We just haven't had the chance to speak about anything."
Probed about whether he thought there was still a chance, Michael said: "We don't know what the future holds. We've just got to get together and speak it out."
