Love Island's Michael Griffiths' reaction to Amber Gill winning is everything

Love Island star Michael Griffiths reacted with incredulous joy at seeing his ex Amber Gill crowned the winner.

After eight weeks in the villa, it was one of the newest couplings that walked away with the £50,000 when Geordie girl Amber was voted the winner alongside her Irish beau, Greg O'Shea.

It was expected that Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury would be crowned as the top couple on the ITV2 dating show.

They had been the bookies favourites throughout but Amber and Greg trumped them and Michael couldn't have been more pleased.

He was joined at the Love Island Experience on Brighton beach by last year's finalist, Josh Denzel .

As the time approached for the show's host, Caroline Flack, to reveal the winner, Josh commented that Molly-Mae would be "fuming" as Michael filmed their reaction for his Instagram story.

With the dramatic pause before the winning announcement was made, Michael felt it getting to him and he exclaimed: "This is tense!"

Then it was revealed that Amber and Greg had triumphed and Michael couldn't have been more ecstatic if he had won the show himself.

Jumping around the stage on Brighton beach, he shouted "Oh s***!" nine times, before saying: "I didn't expect that, wow!"

Michael had tried to win back Amber before he was dumped from the villa, after his partner there Joanna Chimonides had exited.

Despite having feelings for him previously, Amber decided to stay with Greg in a tense recoupling, which was the final straw for Michael in the villa and has proved to have been a great decision for Amber.
