Love Island's Michael Griffiths is king of the villa as Curtis branded 'fake'

Love Island 's Michael Griffiths has been crowned king of the villa after Tom and Maura's showdown.

He over his comments about Maura Higgins being "all talk" because she was eavesdropping at the door.

Fans have since vowed to stick by him for his brave actions and are keen to see him win with Amber.

But the same can't be said for once nice guy Curtis Pritchard, as he was spotted sniggering away at the fallout from the drama which even stunned Maura herself who thought he had her back.

Viewers watching at home branded Curtis 'fake' and 'two-faced' for laughing at her upset.

As Maura stood outside the bedroom door listening in, Curtis began: "He shouldn't have said what he said, because it's acting big in front of people."

But he collapsed into uncontrollable laughter as he continues: "I just can't get it out of my head how you can f*** up that bad!"

Jordan then questioned why Maura wouldn't want to still spend the night with Tom and Curtis kept on giggling.

Tom spat: "Of course she's not you d***."

All the boys carried on rolling about laughing raucously as Maura eavesdropped outside the bedroom door.

She looked shocked when she told Anna, who joined her: "I've been listening the whole time, they're laughing. Even Curtis."

When Michael clocked the feisty star hiding by the doorway, he desperately tried to get Tom to shut up.

"Pulling a hilarious panicked face, Michael pointed at the door again and again and kept mouthing: "Shhh!

However, Tom was completely oblivious, continuing: "Mate, she's fuming and I don't want an argument!"

While Michael's assistance was lost on Tom, fans at home found it hilarious.

"Everyone NEEDS a Michael in their life #LoveIsland ," a third wrote after watching the scene unfold.

Luckily, as Tom headed out to apologise to Maura she managed to run away from the doorway in time.

Needless to say, he didn't end up in the hideaway with Maura that night, but luckily managed to win her round the next day after a lot of grovelling.
