Love Island's Michael finally admits to having feelings for Amber

Amber Gill has suffered terrible Love Island heartbreak following Michael Griffiths' recoupling with Joanna Chimonides.

And after receiving mixed signals, viewers have seen Amber in tears most nights.

The Geordie beautician has been very vocal in admitting that she would like to recouple with the Scouse firefighter.

However, Michael has branded Amber 'childish' and stated repeatedly that she is not the girl for him.

But it appears the tables have turned as in an exclusive clip shown on This Morning, Michael confesses he still has feelings for Amber.

There is an awkward apology from Michael (ITV)

Speaking to the boys around the firepit, Michael says: "Now Joanna's gone, it's given me time to kind of think about things and yeah I do still like Amber."

Following his admission, Jordan warned Michael that his words have consequences.

He said: "If you do go back there, things will be so much more different."

Joanna was dumped from the island (ITV)

Michael said: "I think I need to do myself a favour and let her know."

This comes after Michael's partner Joanna was dumped from the island.

Speaking after the show, Joanna said: "I’m feeling good! I’m a bit gutted that I’m not in the villa for a bit longer so I had the opportunity to get to know Michael more but I had an amazing journey and an amazing experience.

"Everything in life happens for a reason and maybe it was just my time to leave the villa.

"Part of me expected Michael to leave with me, however I don’t want to be in control of someone’s life journey."
