Michael Griffiths has opened up about an unaired conversation he had with Jordan and Curtis which appeared to expose him as a "game player".
The firefighter, 28, admitted that he has "no idea" what is going on in Jordan's head.
Jordan sparked a war in the villa after admitting he fancied India Reynolds - just days after asking Anna Vakili to be his girlfriend.
But even this shocked Michael, who said that Jordan had initially confided in him and Anton that he didn't think getting into an exclusive relationship in the villa was a good idea.
Appearing on Lorraine, Michael said that Jordan hadn't hinted to him at all that he was having a change of heart.
He told host Christine Lampard: "We spoke about the whole, getting into a relationship in the villa. Me, Anton and Jordan were sitting around saying it's not the best thing to do because you don't know if you're going to work on the outside.
"And then Jordan's gone ahead and done it. We always backed him for it and respected his decision."
He added: "That was his mission, he came in to get Anna. And it seems he's just had a bit of head loss and he's stumbled at the first step."
Asked whether he would have recommended, as Curtis told Jordan, speaking out, Michael said: "No I wouldn't.
"I would have said, 'You need to think about what you're going to do before you act on it. Because if you're not sure, speak to Anna because you need to see if you can clear things up with her.'"
