Love Island's Michael and Joanna stunned after being forced to split

This year's Love Island played its best, and most brutal, twist yet on Sunday night when Michael and Joanna were told they'd be forced to split.

The Islanders were involving a night of drinking and dancing outside the villa in the Island Club when host Caroline Flack arrived to spoil the party with news of the next

She revealed that the public had been voting for their favourite couple and announced Molly-Mae & Tommy, Amber & Ovie and Belle & Anton as safe.

That left Anna & Jordan and Joanna & Michael in danger and it was down to the safe couples to decide who they wanted to stay.

They went for Anna & Jordan, but then the big bombshell came when Caroline told Joanna & Michael that one of them would be leaving.

In true Love Island style, viewers were then left aghast as the credits them rolled at the end of the extended episode, leaving them to speculate how it will be decided.

Many people think that Michael and Joanna will have to decide between themselves who is going and some think that, whatever the outcome, both will end up leaving anyway.

However, with Amber finally telling Michael how she felt, will he be tempting to stay and rekindle their fractured relationship?
