There’s trouble in paradise for Love Island 2019 ’s Maura Higgins and Tom Walker, as she confronts him over his harsh comments about her.
While he and Maura appeared to be getting on well, even getting intimate, Tom confessed to pal Jordan Hames he wasn’t sure if he was actually keen.
Jordan’s partner Anna Vakili decided to tell her pal how Tom’s head could potentially be turned, and while she didn’t reveal exactly what he had said she did confess something was said, suggesting she had a word with him.
But Anna didn’t want Maura to tell him what Jordan had told her, because Anna wasn’t meant to say anything.
It seems all is revealed though as in the latest episode, Maura blasts “coward” Tom and accuses him of calling her an “attention seeker”.
She screams at him as he watches on, livid with what she's discovered.
Maura did reveal her plans to find out what was really going on, having no idea Tom was having second thoughts.
Viewers should prepare for a showdown though just moments before a couple is dumped from the villa.
In a new teaser, Maura tells Tom: “So I’m an attention seeker…and I’m cringey, and I’m OTT?”
As the stunned islanders beside them watched the commotion, Tom says: “Listen, can we just talk it out?”
She screams back: “How dare you say those things about me.
“You’re a barefaced liar and a coward, and do you know what else, you’re playing a game.”
Tom bows his head as Maura storms off, as the islanders don’t quite know how to react in the garden.
Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
