Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor rung in their first Valentine's day together.

Ironically the loved-up couple didn't find romance with each other until they had become firm friends, months after meeting on Love Island.

Valentine's was an extravagant affair at their home as the lovebirds dined in an igloo in their garden.

Maura looked stunning in a cut-away LBD while Chris dressed up in a suit for the glamorous at-home occasion.

Fairy lights and candles brightened up their surroundings while they enjoyed their romantic dinner for two.

Red and white roses were displayed beautifully on the table among the bottles of prosecco and candles.

"We never thought it would go past friendship. I genuinely never thought it would happen,” Maura told The Sun.
