Love Island's Malin Andersson remembers late mum and baby girl on Mother's Day

Malin Andersson posted a heart-wrenching Mother's Day message as she continues to deal with her devastating double tragedy.

The former Love Island star, 27 was left shattered two years ago when her newborn baby daughter passed away at just four weeks old.

Consy-Gloria, named after her late mother who died from stomach cancer in November 2017, was born with a rare heart condition.

The harrowing death left the TV star "empty" and she continues to come to terms with the heartbreaking period of her life.

She uploaded a tribute to both her daughter and her mum on a difficult day for the reality star.

"Happy Mother’s Day," she posted on Instagram, alongside a photo of her tragic daughter.

"To those that don’t think that you’re a mum, you are. You always will be. To those that have lost their mother - I feel your pain today & every day.

"Remember to think of those around you that may not be celebrating today. Today is difficult for me even though I am ‘strong’.. so never presume.

"Miss my mum and daughter more than anything."

Speaking candidly about her daughter's passing, Malin previously told OK! Magazine : "I played with her hands and feet while she was in the incubator, but I couldn’t hold her.

"I also got involved in nappy changes and was expressing [breast milk] so that she could have my milk.

"She was 4lb 8oz, so too small for surgery. All I could do was hope for a miracle."

Last year, the brave beauty penned a stunning Mother's Day poem dedicated to her late baby girl, who she says she misses every day.

Malin's touching poem read: "I'll always be your mum baby girl, no-one will ever take that away from me.

"I'll always be your mum baby girl, I know you're up in heaven smiling and floating free.

"I'll always be your mum baby girl, never forgetting the kicking in my stomach, and the way you used to spin.

"I'll always be your mum baby girl, always staying strong. For whoever says I'm not a mum... is completely wrong".
