Love Island's Luke M leaves one girl seething after making controversial choice

Luke Mabbott makes a controversial decision during tonight's explosive Love Island recoupling.

All of the Islanders gather at the fire pit for the latest recoupling - with the power placed in the boys' hands.

One girl will be dumped from the Island and it's single girls Shaughna Phillip and Demi Jones who are most at risk of leaving.

Most of the Islanders are feeling very safe in their couples, so all eyes are on Luke M and new boy Jamie Clayton.

Jamie tells the Islanders he’s decided to choose the girl with whom “the banter is on the exact same level”.

Meanwhile, Luke M has a massive decision to make after Shaughna and Demi confessed their feelings for him.

A nervous Luke M puts his head in his hands and admit it's the hardest decision he has ever had to make.

Of his chosen girl, he says: “When we do talk, it’s easy, the conversations flow and she never fails to make me laugh.

"I feel like she hasn’t had the best luck in the villa, but I do feel that is going to change.”

Shaughna and Demi hold hands as they stand opposite and shoot each other an awkward look.

Finally getting to the decision, Luke M says: "So the girl I'd like to couple up with is..."

Who will the boys recouple up with? And who will leave the villa?

The Islanders were floored on last night's show when they discovered one of the girls would be sent back home.

There was a very tense atmosphere when Shaughna took Demi aside for a "very uncomfortable conversation".

Shaughna revealed that she fancies Luke M and Demi was left in tears by the end of the night.

*Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2
