Love Island's Lucinda Strafford revealed her romance with Irish footballer Aaron Connolly is back on after failing to find love in the villa.
The star confirmed the news after the pair were seen putting on a cosy display recently, leaving fans questioning if they're back together.
However, Lucinda - who left the villa with Aaron Francis and went on a few dates with Brad McClelland after her exit - insists it is early days with the footballer.
The 21-year-old said she is "taking it step by step" with her former flame for now.
"So, yeah, we are sort of talking again," she told to OK! magazine.
“We’re seeing where things go, we’re not back together as such but we’re taking it step by step.”
Lucinda says she and her Love Island co-star Aaron decided they were better off as friends, whilst things ended up just "fizzling out" for her and Brad on the outside.
She added: “I feel like maybe there was a reason it didn’t work in the villa so it wasn’t going to work outside.”
Speaking about her ex Aaron, she went on: "Then, obviously, I was single and he sort of reached out and then the rest is sort of history.
"We're just sort of chatting again. It's nothing too serious at all."
Lucinda added: “I think I’m sort of keeping my options open but I’m not really talking to anyone else at the moment.
“So, it’s sort of mixed between both really. It’s quite early stages again.”
She even hinted that her time in the Love Island villa might have brought her and her ex closer together, adding: "Sometimes these things happen but maybe it made him miss me more, who knows!"
Aaron, 21, plays as a forward for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the Republic of Ireland national team.
The couple dated before she entered the villa, and at the time of her arrival of the show, fans quizzed whether she was still with Aaron, after sources claimed they had "rekindled their romance" before she went on the show.
Insiders also claimed Aaron was looking after Lucinda's dog during her time in the villa.
However, Lucinda insisted she was "completely and utterly single"
"Never in a million years would I go on Love Island if I was in a relationship, and I'm sure if I had a boyfriend, he wouldn't be very happy with it either," she explained.
"We ended quite dramatically at the start of March but then we made friends. Hopefully, he's moved on and I definitely have."
