Love Island's Lucinda Strafford credits being half Scottish for her 'exotic' looks

Love Island fans were delighted when new girl Lucinda Strafford let it slip she was half Scottish.

She also credited her Scots roots for giving her 'exotic' looks.

At the end of the latest episode Lucinda was talking about her 'exotic' looks to Brad and said: "My mum's Scottish."

The 21-year-old comes from Brighton and owns an online fashion boutique.

As a former cabin crew member who was made redundant, she has met everyone from Dannii Minogue and Usain Bolt to Nick Grimshaw.

And she has already hit the headlines for being the ex-girlfriend of a former footballer Brighton and Hove Albion winger Aaron Connolly who she split from in March.

Fans discussed Lucinda's revelations on Twitter but some questioned whether it was that part of her heritage which had Brad so intrigued.

One said: "Apparently Scottish is exotic now #LoveIsland."

Another added: 'Lucinda is trying to claim ‘exotic’ girl . You are Scottish girl!!! Ohhhhh the ghettto #LoveIsland."

And someone else suggested: "Lucinda's dark features that Brad finds so attractive must be in that Scottish/Irish heritage of hers #LoveIsland."
