Lucinda Strafford has revealed she is back with her footballer ex.
After failing to find true romance in the villa, Lucinda has rekindled her romance with footballer Aaron Connolly, who plays for Brighton and Hove Albion.
The star confirmed the news after the pair were seen putting on an amorous display recently.
However, Lucinda - who left the villa with Aaron Francis and went on a few dates with Brad McClelland after her exit - insists it is early days with the footballer and they are "taking it step by step".
"So, yeah, we are sort of talking again," she revealed to OK! magazine.
"We're seeing where things go, we're not back together as such but we're taking it step by step."
Lucinda says her and Aaron - who she met in the villa - decided they were better off as friends, whilst things ended up just "fizzling out" for her and Brad on the outside, which she sensed would happen as they didn't work in the villa either.
Speaking about her ex Aaron, she added: "Then, obviously, I was single and he sort of reached out and then the rest is sort off.
"We're just sort of chatting again. It's nothing too serious at all."
She even hinted that her time in the Love Island villa might have brought her and her ex closer together, adding: "Sometimes these things happen but maybe it made him miss me more, who knows!"
Lucinda isn't speaking to anyone else at the moment, but she is adamant it's still "early stages" for her and her footballer beau.
The couple dated before she entered the villa, and at the time of her arrival of the show, fans quizzed whether she was still with Aaron, after sources claimed they had "rekindled their romance" before she went on the show.
Insiders also claimed Aaron was looking after Lucinda's dog during her time in the villa.
An insider told The Sun at the time: "Lucinda and Aaron reconciled before she went on Love Island. It was meant to be a big secret because there are strict rules about it."
However, Lucinda insisted she was "completely and utterly single"
"Never in a million years would I go on Love Island if I was in a relationship, and I'm sure if I had a boyfriend, he wouldn't be very happy with it either," she explained.
"We ended quite dramatically at the start of March but then we made friends. Hopefully, he's moved on and I definitely have."
