Love Island's Lucie slams girls as vicious 'bullies' who nearly drove her to quit

Love Island 's Lucie Donlan has slammed the show's girls as vicious bullies who nearly drove her to quit to show.

The surfer babe, 21, got booted out this week, but she's now revealed she almost walked when her relationship with the female contestants broke down.

She says the girls did eventually change their ways but only after they were told their catty antics looked bad on TV.

In an interview with The Sun On Sunday, she explained: "I did think about quitting.

"There was one night when I was really upset, because the girls had drilled it into Joe that I shouldn’t be spending all this time with Tommy.

"He came to talk to me about it but I was more upset by what they had done.

"After that, I didn’t really want to speak to them because I felt I couldn’t trust them...

"Those girls are not like me. They like drama. It was like being in a school playground. I felt really alone and I didn’t know who I could talk to.”

She went on to explain that the girls, including Amy, Amber and Anna, changed their ways after new girl Arabella Chi came in and told them how they were being portrayed on TV.

Amy was among the girls Lucie accused of being bullies (ITV)

Lucie added: "she told the other girls immediately that she had seen what had been happening between them and me — that they had all ganged up on me.

"They denied it but they obviously realised bad things were being shown on TV.

"And they didn’t like it, so they backed off after that.”
