Bride-to-be Lucie Donlan has revealed she has found her dream wedding dress after spontaneously going shopping with her fiancé Luke Mabbott in London.
The Love Island couple, who both appeared on the ITV2 dating show but in different series, got engaged in December 2021.
And they are now putting plans in place for their very special day ahead, with Lucie finding her perfect dress while out shopping with Luke.
The blonde beauty, 25, took to Instagram to reveal that luxury boutique Lovely Bride had blessed her with her dream wedding gown after she popped into the shop on a complete whim.
Before long, Lucie ended up coming across the dress she had always dreamed of and walked away with the biggest task on her wedding list ticked off.
Posing inside the shop after trying on her dress, Lucie posed as she held up a placard which read: "I said yaaas".
Although Luke joined Lucie on her shopping spree, the Love Island beauty clarified that her husband-to-be has not actually laid eyes on her wedding dress just yet.
Somehow, Luke managed to avoid seeing the dress as he sat in the shop.
"So guys I was just having a strange day. We're just in London and obviously, we want to start planning our wedding soon and stuff like that," Lucie said on her stories.
"And we kind of were just sitting in the taxi on the way to the hotel and I saw something on my Instagram and went and tried some stuff on today just spontaneously and something exciting happened," she added.
The surfer from Cornwall recently spoke about her whirlwind engagement to Love Island alumnus Luke.
Speaking to MailOnline she said: "It was very emotional. It's going to be an amazing year because we've got our little dog - it's like we've got our own little family.
"We never have any time apart. We have the odd week here and there but we end up missing each other too much. We actually hate being apart, we don't like doing anything without each other."
Ex-plumber Luke popped the question to Lucy under the northern lights.
The 25-year-old shared the happy news on his Instagram with a pic of a stunning engagement ring.
He wrote: "Mrs Mabbott to be… The northern lights made an appearance for the perfect moment to pop the question. A night we will never forget."
The pair, who started dating in July 2020, were in different Love Island series with Luke getting together with Demi Jones in last year's winter show and Lucie coupling up with Joe Garratt in Majorca.
