Love Island's Luca Bish teases Liam Llewellyn on Wales being out of the World Cup

Luca Bish has teased his Love Island co-star Liam Llewellyn about Wales' early defeat in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Wales were, ultimately, knocked out after losing to England last week.

Posting a short clip to his Instagram Stories, Luca, who recently split from girlfriend Gemma Owen, could be seen mocking Wales. Both of them were sat on a sofa listening to Three Lions (Football's Coming Home) - a song commonly associated with England.

"It's coming home, isn't it?" Luca asked Liam, who replied: "Nah, never." In response, Luca then said: "How's Wales getting on?" and Liam laughed... passive aggressively, we assume.

Liam and Luca met on the latest series of ITV2 dating series Love Island. Whilst Luca went all the way in the competition with then-girlfriend Gemma, Liam decided to leave of his own accord. You can read more about his shocking early exit here.

Love Island is set to return to screens in January with new host Maya Jama, who takes over from Laura Whitmore. Upon securing the role, she said: "I've always been such a massive Love Island fan and I'm so excited to be hosting one of the nation's favourite shows! I can't wait to get into the Villa to meet all of the Islanders." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
