Love Island's Luca Bish's sister defends him after being called 'fake' in explosive Dami row

Luca Bish's sister has furiously defended him after he was called "fake" by Dami Hope in a dramatic row on last night's Love Island.

The fishmonger, 23 locked horns with the microbiologist who accused him of "egging the other boys on" to cheat so he and Gemma Owen, 19, could waltz off with the prize money.

Hitting back at Dami's claim, Luca's family stuck up for 'their boy' on Instagram after the show, saying they 'couldn't be prouder'.

The star's sister Claudia, who is running the islander's social media account while he's in the villa, posted a pic of her bro sleeping in bed.

She captioned the snap: "We'd do anything to give you a big fat hug, we're so proud of you. Team Luca all the way man @lucabish.

"Could not be more proud of our boy tonight if we tried. Such a huge shame to see the stigma surrounding men."

She then shared a message from a fan, who asked: "How is Luca fake by staying true to himself? Why the f**k do boys encourage disloyalty?"

Commenting on the post, Claudia said: "So f*****g proud he's staying true to himself. Just want to hug him and tell him it's all fine."

Love Island fans were left divided after Luca clashed with Dami during the Casa Amor twist.

The microbiologist and Andrew snogged bombshells Summer and Coco - with Luca appearing delighted by the news,

However Dami accused him of "egging the other boys on" to cheat.

Fuming, Dami, who is coupled with Indiyah, said: "Yeah, stop egging other people on man. What's wrong with you? Just be real for once."

Fans watching at home had mixed reactions about the row, with some agreeing that Luca wanted the other boys to cheat so that he and Gemma could win.

One said: "Luca egging everyone on so he can win and watch everyone vote for him.

While another wrote: "It’s true tho like luca is egging on the boys to cheat while he’s not doing anything."

However other viewers disagreed and thought that Dami felt guilty about kissing Summer and took it out on Luca.

One mused: "dami taking it out on luca bc he knows he f****d up and lost the best thing that happened to him."

While another said "dami thought the boys would cheer him on, now he’s guilty and is taking it out on luca."
