Love Island's Lillie dropped Liam truth bomb over fears he'd hide it from Millie

Love Island’s Casa Amor bombshell Lillie Haynes has been left feeling “mugged off” by Liam Reardon, after he ditched her to return to Millie Court.

The 22-year-old was seen tempting Liam away from Millie while the boys spent time in the second villa, with Liam finally snogging Lillie and sharing a bed with her as their connection grew.

But when it came to the recoupling, Liam returned to Millie - only for it to blow up minutes later with Lillie coming in and revealing all to the entire villa after she was dumped.

Millie has been left devastated, and on tonight’s episode is set to meet Lillie face-to-face to discuss what actually happened - while Liam grovels for a second chance.

But speaking after her exit, Lillie said she was disappointed it didn’t work out for her but didn’t announce what happened to “cause drama”, rather, she thought it was her only opportunity to get the truth to Millie.

“It wouldn’t have been nice of me to stand there and let her be happy and lovey, thinking: ‘Oh, he’s come back’ when she was being mugged off,” she told The Sun .

Liam and Lillie's relationship boiled over at Casa Amor before he returned to Millie (ITV)

“So I spoke up as one girl to another — I wasn’t staying in the villa to say my piece, so I wanted to say something to put a question mark in Millie’s head about him.

"Because he is going to have to say something about what happened between us. And I don’t know if it’s going to be the whole truth.”

While Lillie admits it “speaks volumes” that he returned to the main villa to be with Millie, he still needs to understand the consequences of his actions, especially as he had been so flirty with her.

Lillie was convinced she had a 'real' connection with Liam and was gutted when he ditched her (ITV)

“I had that instant attraction straight away. His dare in our first game was to kiss the Islander he found most attractive, which was me. I felt the exact same,” she said.

“We were all there to find the same thing, which is love.

“Obviously, when Liam was saying to be respectful towards Millie I did step back and respected that.

"And he did mention Millie a couple of times, saying that she was ‘back home’ in the villa and that he’s got to be respectful of the situation.

“But I still feel like I was misled, because actions speak louder than words.”

The Casa Amor game twist threw a massive spanner in the works of the entire villa - with Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish the only couple remaining together.

Will Liam and Millie figure out their issues or is it all over? (ITV)

While Liam returned to Millie, the relationship is on the rocks - and every other islander decided to move onto someone new.

The only exception was Teddy Soares and Abigail Rawlings, who are now single after their other halves couples up, but they remained loyal.

Tonight’s episode will see yet more of the fallout, with islanders learning more about what happened during their time apart.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2, followed by Aftersun.
