Love Island's Liberty breaks silence after leaving the villa days before final

Liberty Poole has broken her silence after quitting Love Island just days before the final.

The 21-year-old left the villa with fellow contestant Jake Cornish during Friday's episode, after being coupled up since the start of the series.

It came after Liberty decided to call it a day on their romance as she broke down in floods of tears.

Since leaving the show, Liberty has been reunited with her phone and took to Instagram to thank fans for their support.

She will be appearing on Love Island's Aftersun at 10pm tonight on ITV2.

Sharing a video to her story, Liberty said: "I’ve got my phone back now, I’m just in the villa and I’ll be appearing on Aftersun tonight.

"I can’t even tell you guys how overwhelmed I am by the amount of support that you guys have shown.

"The amount of messages I’ve had saying you’ve inspired me, you’re my role model, it honestly means more to me than winning any sort of money or getting to the final.

"The fact that I’ve inspired so many people, that’s what I want to do and obviously continue to do.

"So just a quick video to say big love. Obviously I’d do a full heart but I can’t because my hand's holding my phone, but big love and honestly thank you guys so much."
