Love Island's Liam Reardon shares health update and says he's in 'absolute agony'

Love Island's Liam Reardon has shared a health update with his fans. The Love Island star, who won the ITV dating show in 2021 alongside Millie Court, told his 981,000 Instagram followers he was in "absolute agony" as he revealed why he'd been quieter than usual on the social media platform.

Snapping a mirror selfie after a light gym session, Liam, who hails from Merthyr, candidly shared: "Been a little quiet on here, also haven't trained or been able to do hardly anything for a few weeks as my back is in absolute agony. Had an MRI last week so waiting on the results from that."

He continued: "Managed to do a light session yesterday but being very mindful of the pain in my lower back. It did wonders for my [brain emoji] and was well-needed. I struggle when I can't get my fitness in."

Liam signed off the update by telling his followers: "I can't wait to get back to it full time. Hope you people are having a good week either way."

Reality television star Liam won Love Island in 2021 alongside Millie but the pair split a year later. The Welshman went on to appear on Celebs Go Dating where he opened up about their separation.

Liam was recently forced to put rumours the pair had reconciled to bed. According to The Mirror the star told Heart Radio: "A lot of rumours going around about me and Millie. It's hard to address them all. But the main thing is me and Millie are really good friends.

"And we've been good friends since the day we met. And that's all I can say right now." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
