Love Island's Liam calls Millie his soulmate in grovelling speech before recoupling

Liam Reardon provided the drama this series of Love Island needed when he kissed Lillie Haynes whilst in Casa Amor.

The Welsh bricklayer left a loyal Millie Court in the main villa as he headed for a "lads holiday" to the notorious second villa, where he wasted little time in hooking up with bombshell Millie.

However, when it was time to return to the main villa, Liam cast Lillie aside to return to Millie, who had stayed loyal throughout the trial separation.

After learning Liam had been unfaithful, Millie promptly dumped her beau and has remained in the villa single.

Viewers will see Liam's desperation to make amends reach new heights in tonight's episode - as the recoupling with the girls choosing looms.

A preview for the dramatic shake-up sees Liam gather all the islanders to reveal he has something he wants to speak about.

He tells his co-stars: "I’ve got something I want to say. I’ve been told I need to go big or go home."

Liam then directs a grovelling speech towards Millie.

He tells her: "You blew me away with your flawless looks, piercing blue eyes, infectious smile and amazing personality that draws me to you.

"It’s the way you make me smile without even saying anything that brings me back for more."

He then calls Liam his "soulmate".

"I didn’t expect to come to Love Island and find a potential soulmate so early on but I’ve found that and so much more in you," he continues in the apology speech.

"I’ve never been one to have boxes that need ticking, it’s all about how someone makes me feel. I’ve never felt this way before."

When Liam returned to the villa alone, he told Millie he was "back where he belongs".

"The time apart was hard but I’m back where I belong.

"It makes you realise where your heart is and mine has been up in this villa the whole time."

Will Millie be swayed by his kind words?

Earlier this week Millie's world came crashing down when rival Lillie said her and Liam shared a "good connection, very 50/50".

She added: "The actions were pretty equal - sharing a bed together, kissing outside of challenges."

Lillie has since slammed Liam for his decision, admitting she was shocked when he decided to go back to Millie.

She told The Sun on Sunday : "When I found out Liam hadn’t chosen me, I felt misled. He’d been giving me what I wanted to hear and I was convinced he was the one.

"He made me feel as if I had a really strong chance of going back to the villa with him. He was very hands-on - we were like a couple in there. So I definitely thought I was going to get picked. When he chose to go back alone, I was shocked."
