Love Island 2021 star Kaz Kamwi is the most popular of the series according to social media sentiment, a data analyst has revealed.
Product data analyst Chloe Morgan has shared her Google Data Studio analysis of which contestants on the ITV2 show are receiving the most love on social media platform Twitter.
Late on Tuesday night, Chloe shared the latest look at the contestants' sentiment scores which provide the value assigned to tweets on a spectrum of positive to negative.
She notes that this system was "Made with Rtweet, Afinn lexicon & Google Data Studio by Chloe Morgan, @the_numerist ".
In her tweet sharing the latest results, Chloe penned: " #LoveIsland Tweet Sentiment Analysis Day 2 - Kaz & Toby taking the lead over on the day beds, driven by Twitters love for Kaz [yellow heart emoji]".
In the latest ranking of contestants' sentiment scores, the islanders came out as followers.

So it seems that pals Kaz and Liberty are going down a treat with viewers but late arrival Chloe and Devon lettings manager Faye are the ones who may need to up their game to stay on the show long-term.
In terms of couples, the pairings have turned out as follows and it does really seem that Kaz and Toby are the ones to beat - if they can stay together.

The popularity of the pairings appears to line up with the amount of love the contestants are getting individually, which shall be interesting to observe as Chloe's choice of who to couple up with changes everything.
However, in tonight's episode of Love Island, it seems the pairing of Kaz and Toby will only get stronger as the couple go on their first date.
Kaz asks Toby on the date by the seaside: "Obviously, you play football. Tell me more about that. What position do you play?"
Toby confirms his role on the wing for the beautiful game but Kaz responds: "My football knowledge is not great. All I know is there is a ref, a keeper and a substitute bench."
Toby humorously comments: "I'm there sometimes as well, chilling."
As the date goes on, Toby asks Kaz: “ On the outside, if I said second date?”
Kaz answers: “Would I come? On the outside, yeah I’d say yes to a second date.”
