Love Island's Kaz' family subjected to vulgar racist abuse after Tyler love triangle

Love Island star Kaz Kamwi's family have pleaded with viewers to be kind as they have been subject to vile racist abuse.

Kaz is currently caught up in a love triangle with Matthew MacNabb and Tyler Cruickshank, and viewers have accused her of using Matthew to make Tyler jealous.

Her family took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday morning to say they have been receiving "vulgar racist abuse" on her account, which they are running while she is in the villa.

In a text post, they said that they accept people will have their opinions, but there is never an excuse to be racist.

"Morning guys, Kaz's family and friends here," they told her 421,000 Instagram followers in the post.

"We understand that a lot of you love watching the show and that people will have differing opinions.

"However, this does not excuse the vulgar racist abuse we have been receiving on her account."

They finished the post with the plea: "Please remember to always #BeKind."

On Wednesday night, viewers criticised Kaz for her love triangle with Matthew and Tyler.

In the latest recoupling on Tuesday, Kaz coupled up with Matt, but she still seems to have feelings for Tyler, who is coupled up with Clarisse Juliette.

After she sat down with Matt after making her decision, she gave Tyler a cheeky week.

Then in the next episode, Tyler admitted to Clarisse that he still likes Kaz.

Matthew pulled Kaz for a chat and asked her to choose him over Tyler and give him "100%", and Kaz said she would "try".

He said that it "wasn't good enough", having only found out about Kaz’s feelings for Tyler after Tyler told him.

"I think you should have told me first to be honest. Being told through Tyler is not ideal," he told her.

Kaz replied: "I didn't purposefully say I'm going to leave Matt in the dark. You told me things aren't that deep between us Matt.”

"I said it's early days," he clarified. "You know what, I need to cool down because you're p***ing me off."

As he stormed off, Kaz was heard saying to herself: "I don't know what to do."

Viewers took to Twitter to criticise her, accusing her of stringing Matt along after accusing Tyler of doing the same to her.
