Love Island's Kady McDermott has ended her brief romance with Aston Villa’s Matty Cash, reports claim.
The reality TV star, 26, who started dating the 24-year-old footballer over the summer, is said to have called it quits because she felt the relationship was going nowhere.
“Kady and Matty had a really good couple of months but decided they weren’t right for each other,” a source told The Sun.
“They are still mates and keep in touch, but there’s nothing romantic anymore.
“They had both just got out of long term romances when they got together so might not have been ready.”
The former couple went public with their relationship at a Wimbledon match in July this year. During the short romance, they were often pictured enjoying each other’s company on a series of outings.
There had been some speculation that the pair could’ve been on the rebound from their previous relationships when they first started dating.
Kady had just called time on her romance with former Towie star Myles Barnett, with she had moved in with and Matty, who signed for Villa at the start of last season for £16 million, had split from his girlfriend of four years, Sophie, who he’s also believed to have shared a home with.
While Kady, who celebrated her 26th birthday party at home with an elaborate bash in September, and Matty only went public in July, she had began liking his Instagram posts back in May.
This was shortly after she confirmed she'd secretly split from Myles, 27.
During an Instagram Q&A session on May 6, she confirmed she was single.
Kady and Myles first got together in 2018 shortly after he split up with his Towie co-star Courtney Green.
Kady and Myles had split several times during their relationship often leaving fans confused about their status.
In June 2020, just weeks after Kady confirmed yet another break-up, she announced that she was still with Myles and that they would live in the Hertfordshire home they bought together in April 2019.
The pair had plans to completely renovate the property into a two-storey house, but they split once again later that year.
Kady blamed their 2020 break-up on the pressure of the build and joked that it had been more stressful than having a baby.
