They’ve survived Love Island and met each other’s parents, but it appears that Danny Williams is being a bit shy over his relationship with Jourdan Riane.
The couple appeared on ITV’s Lorraine this morning to talk about their time in the villa and what they’ve been up to since being dumped.
They told host Lorraine Kelly that although they had only spent one night apart since leaving the show, Jourdan revealed that the couple were not technically official yet.
When asked directly whether they were boyfriend and girlfriend, Danny remained coy as Jourdan turned to him for the answer.
Lorraine exclaimed: "You've met the in-laws for god's sakes!"
Jourdan then revealed that she was waiting on Danny to get the green light by putting her thumb and forefinger together and explaining: "We're this close... do you know what, I'm just waiting on him. It's him!"
An awkward Danny replied: "We're dating, it's step by step isn't it?"
Jourdan continued to say they are “best friends”, adding: "I've always said that I've wanted friendship and then a relationship.
"We're in a really good place."
It wasn’t the only awkward moment for Danny, who was asked whether he’d spoken to former villa flames Arabella and Yewande yet.
He said: "I've reached out to both Arabella and Yewande and I haven't received a response yet.”
Lorraine airs weekdays at 8.30am on ITV.
