Love Island's Jordan says he's not mad at Anna 'for flying off the handle' over India

Love Island's Jordan Hames has said he doesn't blame Anna Vakilli for her furious reaction to him cracking on with new girl India Reynolds just two days into their relationship.

Speaking to the Mirror Online after his departure, Jordan described Anna as a 'feisty girl' who would have reacted badly whether he went to her or India first about his feelings.

He said: "I'm not mad at her for flying off the handle and causing a scene about it because I can only imagine it's an upsetting time."

Despite the fallout, Jordan said he 'doesn't regret a thing' about his turbulent appearance on the show.

"It was based on how I was feeling at that time," he explained, adding: "emotions can change quick."

"I understand I haven't gone about it in the right way but I've apologised. I'm only human. I make mistakes and I'm sure I'm not the only person in the world to have made mistakes," Jordan added.

The recently dumped star said that he's continued to apologise to Anna, who has described his behaviour as the worst in Love Island history.

But Jordan said he's still hoping to be friends with the pharmacist and says he did enjoy their short time together in the villa.

"I fancied Anna straight away. She's got everything I look for in a girl," he said.

"Throughout the whole process we got closer and Casa Amor happened and not one of them girls turned my head at all and I stayed loyal to Anna because that's how I was feeling.

"But I saw something in India," admits Jordan who says he had more 'banter' with the new girl.

For now India is happily coupled up with Ovie with the pair going on a romantic final date in Thursday night's loved-up episode.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2
