Love Island's Joanna Chimonides gushes about villa life as Michael confesses all to Amber

Love Island's Joanna Chimonides might want to flick over to something else tonight, as her other half for Amber Gill.

Firefighter Michael didn't even wait for two days after Joanna was unceremoniously booted from the villa in Monday night's episode, having told her he'd "found everything I was looking for"... but refusing to leave with her.

And even though he'd reassured Joanna that he no longer fancied Amber, it seems he's flipped 560 degrees (in the words of Tommy Fury) and is about to shake up the villa by confessing that he does in fact still have feelings.

Poor Joanna seems to be totally unaware, however, as she took to Instagram this morning to gush about her stint on the show.

"I'm on my way to do a little bit of filming today, so it's really exciting. I've also been reading through all the comments and DMs, and honestly I couldn't thank everyone for the support," she told her fans.

"I can't wait to share my experience on Aftersun this Sunday, which is very exciting, and obviously just tell you about what went on and things like that, cos it's an amazing experience to have and I'm just so grateful to be there and share that experience with everyone else."

She added: "Catch up soon, thank you guys."

In tonight's episode, topless Michael stuns the boys by staging his dramatic U-turn around the firepit.

"Now Joanna's gone I've had time to think about things and I do actually like Amber," he tells shocked Curtis Pritchard, Jordam Hames and Ovie Soko.

His massive change of heart seems to have been prompted by Amber's date with new boy Greg.

Michael is later seen pulling Amber for a chat, telling her he got jealous seeing her spending time with Greg.

Earlier in the episode, beaming Amber talks to Anna about getting to know the new boy some more.

I find it hard meeting new people so I just kinda want to be normal, and it's quite hard for me to do that when I wanna just let my imagination run wild," she tells the Beach Hut.

Over on the beanbags, Michael is having a heart to heart with Ovie about his and Amber's tearful reconciliation on last night's show.

"That was weird last night in the sense of it just felt normal again," Michael says.

"Don't let your pride - that is such a huge strength - hurt you. Don't fight yourself no more, cos if anything, that'll make you more frustrated," Ovie advises him.

Will Michael swallow his pride enough to apologise to Amber? Would she even take him back?
