Love Island's Jay reckons islanders 'rattled' as he gets flirty with three girls

Love Island's Scots bombshell Jay will get up close and personal to three of the islanders tonight as meal time turns a bit saucy.

The Edinburgh hunk, 28, and Manchester model Remi Lambert, 22, receive a text which tells them they can pick three girls to cook a starter, main and dessert for them in a bid to get to know their top picks a bit better.

As Wednesday's instalment of the ITV2 reality dating show kicks off, Jay picks Amber for starter, Ekin-Su for main and Tasha for dessert while Remi opts for Indiyah for starter, Paige for main and dessert dished up by twice picked Ekin-Su.

Jay gets very flirty with Ekin-Su at one point, sharing a piece of spaghetti Lady and the Tramp-style. Ekin-Su pulls away just before their lips lock, but not before Davide notices from the balcony.

Jay and Remi have sent shockwaves round the villa since their dramatic entrance in last night's episode.

Jay, an investment analyst from Musselburgh, is set to ruffle a few feathers after teaser clips at the end of Tuesday's show suggested he'd have some words with other newcomer Jacques O'Neill following his confident entrance.

Speaking the morning after their big arrival, Jay hints that he's already certain he's caught the attention of a few of the female islanders, and tells Remi who he thinks is in a vulnerable pairing.

He says: "I definitely feel that at least three of them have been rattled.”

“I caught eyes with Amber and I’ll never forget that, Amber and I were just eyeballing, I was literally eyeballing Amber from the middle of the hall.”

Remi then later speaks about Tasha, saying: Tasha and Andrew look so good together.” but Jay disagrees and says: “Bro, let me tell you man, Tasha wants out of that relationship.”

Remi says: Do you think?”

Jay tells Remi: “100% mate, I think Tasha is probably wanting us to properly graft her but yeah bro, it’s all to play for mate.”

Super-fit Jay is hoping to wow the girls with his impressive gym-honed physique and perhaps plans to impress by revealing Gemma Owen is not the only contestant to have a famous relative who played for Liverpool FC.

Jay's grandfather is Scottish football star Tommy Younger. He made his debut for Liverpool, who Michael also played for, in August 1956, with his last appearance for the club taking place three years later.

The goalkeeper also captained Scotland's 1958 World Cup squad and played for his country on a handful of occasions.

Tonight though, it'll be his chat over the dinner table that will get him noticed, and he's putting in the leg work.

Viewers will see him say to Amber: You’ve got the highest emotional intelligence I can see and you’re a good looking girl so why would I not want to get to know you?”

Heading back to the kitchen Amber admits to the other girls: He’s fit.”

Next up are the mains, as Remi tucks into his meal cooked by Paige he says: “It’s probably all over my lips” to which Paige seductively suggests: We can get it off later babe, don’t worry.”

But it's the potential romance between Jay and Tasha that could provide the most entertainment - and prompt the question of whether Andrew will be bothered.

As Jay will be seen asking Tasha: In terms of attraction in the villa do you just have eyes for Andrew or do you think there’s anyone else?”

And Tasha replies: “Obviously at the moment it’s Andrew and you but we will have to wait and see won’t we.”
