Love Island's Jake commits to Liberty after saying he was 'tested'

In what fans have dubbed one of the most 'chilling' episodes ever, Love Islander Liberty laid down the law for her partner Jake, who has been flirting up a storm with bombshell Millie Court.

Fans have been fearing the worst for Brummie lass Liberty who admitted she'd fallen head over heels for her partner.

However the water engineer had not reached the same level of attraction and admitted that new girl Millie is certainly 'his type' as the pair appeared to grow close.

The islander, who is currently coupled up with Liberty, appears to have suggested that he wants to keep his options open and get to know everyone that enters the villa.

He told Millie: "What we have got is good but we have not been tested and then obviously you come in and it was like ‘ah f**k’."

In response Liberty admitted to Kaz: “It’s not nice to see but he’s got to do what he’s got to do. I’m going to be chilled and see what happens."

The drama escalated shortly after Jake admitted in the Beach Hut that the arrival of Millie and Lucinda had shaken things up between the couples in the villa.

However fans are behind former Nandos worker Liberty after she decided to lay down the law with her other half.

She told Jake: "I'm not going to sit here and watch you try with every blonde girl that comes in. I gave you 110%...but I'm not going to if you're going to chat to other girls."

She added: "Obviously today shook me a bit. I'll cuddle you possibly but there's going to be no hanky panky or snogging."

A clearly crestfallen Jake told her she had to "do what you've got to do", but also tried to repair the situation, saying: "What I've got with you is good.

"I needed a test to go 'Am I really into Lib?' I had one chat with someone whose my type.

"I can't keep my hands off you".

Viewers were proud of Liberty for sticking up for herself with one excitedly tweeting: "You go Liberty!"

A second added: "Yessssssss Liberty. I mean he's lying to you, but good girl speaking your truth."

And it seems as if the drama has ruffled more than just the fan's feathers with former Love Island contestant Amy Hart saying she was ready to head to the villa herself to have a word with Liberty about the potential storm that was about to go off.

Fans will remember Amy becoming smitten with Curtis Pritchard in the 2019 series, only for the dancer to fall for another girl during the Casa Amor challenge.

After witnessing the scene, one viewer raged: "These are the worst group of original boys in Love Island history. They do not deserve two new women to terrorise."

The teasing of two blonde bombshell arrivals at the end of Monday's dramatic episode left viewers predicting more heartbreak on the horizon.
