Others noticed that Jacques was setting his sights on another Welsh Islander, after his relationship with fellow Swansea-born Islander Paige in the 2022 villa. Jacques and Paige had a rocky romance in the villa, after Jacques started to get to know other girls during Casa Amor, and ultimately ended with Jacques deciding to leave the Love Island villa of his own accord and Paige coupling up with Adam Collard.

It appears it could be a good match as Anna-May has previously admitted she would be interested in Jacques. The 20-year-old told The Sun: "I fancied Ovie when he was on, but I’d probably have to say Luca Bish and Jacques are my type." She added at the time: "I wouldn’t mind if they came back to the villa."

Anna-May was dumped from the villa when she was not saved by the public vote and left as a vulnerable Islander. Ultimately it was Australian bombshells Jessie Wynter and Aaron Waters who made the decision about who to send home and they choose Anna-May and Haris Namani.
