Jack Fincham has revealed he is unsure if he has ever been in love - despite winning Love Island with former partner Dani Dyer.
The former pen salesman, 28, was named the winner of the ITV2 contest with ex-girlfriend Dyer, 23, in 2018 after the pair’s relationship won the nation’s hearts.
But now Fincham said he wasn’t sure if he had ever been in love.
Discussing his past relationships with dating agents Anna Williamson and Paul Brunson, he said: “I had three serious girlfriends long-term. And you know, being with them, I've said 'I love you" to all of them. Did I [love them]? I don't know'."
He went on to open up about his relationship with Dyer, saying: "We clicked personality wise and then spent every day together, for two months. That’s intense.
“If we had lived in Love Island forever, we’d have been fine, but we didn’t.
"We rushed it, we moved in together, straight away. I did want to [move in with her] but I wish we had waited. I let her rush me a little bit.
“We had a genuine connection in there and I think anyone can see that.
“Honestly, and I mean this, I wish her all the happiness in the world. I’m not a bitter person.”
He added he was “100 per cent” over Dyer, who is now dating ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence who she broke up with before going on Love Island.
Fincham shocked fans when he announced he had parted ways with Love Island co-winner Dyer in April after eight months together.
In his statement, he asked for privacy while he and Dyer navigate their split, admitting that “it wouldn’t be an easy time”.
“There is no easy way to say this and it isn’t going to be an easy time but me and Dani are not in a relationship anymore,” he wrote.
They previously split at Christmas before reconciling.
