Love Island's Iain Stirling postpones comedy gigs as he is 'under the weather'

Love Island narrator Iain Stirling has postponed his gig in London tonight and three in Bristol next week as he is a feeling a bit 'under the weather'.

The comedian was set to kick off his stand up tour 'Failing Upwards' tonight in London but took to Twitter to announce that he isn't feeling great. He said: "I’m a bit under the weather and while I’d usually be very happy to soldier on, with the current situation me and my team think it’s correct to take the precautionary measure of postponing my gig in London tonight, as well as my dates next week in Bristol and Brighton."

He then added: "These will all be rescheduled of course, and those of you who have tickets will be offered the new dates as we confirm them.  Sorry to everyone for the short notice, it’s not a decision we take in any way lightly and appreciate the great inconvenience to many of you. I cannot apologise enough. This show means the world to me but I feel like you’ve got to go safety first. Iain x"

Iain's comedy tours have proven to be extremely popular and due to high demand he had to add extra dates so more people could get along to see the funny man in action.

In recent light of the coronavirus taking on the nation, action has been taken in a bid to prevent spread.

Today, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said that mass gatherings of 500 people will be banned in Scotland as of Monday but schools, universities and nurseries remain open for the moment.
