Love Island's Hugo looks 'betrayed' as four contestants dumped

Love Island viewers said Hugo looked 'betrayed' as he and three other contestants were dumped from the villa.

After receiving the results of the public vote, the Islanders were left with a big decision to make.

The girls had to choose whether to save Hugo, Tyler or Sam from being dumped.

Meanwhile, the boys had to decide whether to save Clarisse, Amy or Mary.

Speaking about the boys’ decision Teddy said: “It was a really hard decision because you’re all amazing girls.”

And speaking for the girls, Faye said: “We can honestly say the villa wouldn’t be the same without him.”

The Islanders decided to dump Clarisse, Amy, Hugo and Sam from the island.

However, viewers thought that Hugo believed he was going to be saved, due to being friends with the girls.

Some said they saw his face drop from a smile to a bemused look when Faye delivered the bad news.

Jess said: "Not Hugo thinking he was going to be saved."

Simon wrote: "Hugo actually thought Faye was talking about him."

Emily added: "LOOOOL Hugo looks shocked? He’s had 1000 chances this ain’t friend island ffs."

Candice tweeted: "I actually can’t believe it. You could tell Hugo thought he was safe."

Donna wrote: "So glad to be wrong phew. And Hugo’s face he actually believed he was saved. End of his all inclusive holiday."

And Zoe said: "Is it just me or did anybody else notice Hugo smiling/smirking while the boys and girls reveal who they saved like he wanted to be saved?"
