Love Island star Sharon Gaffka is considering putting the moves on Hugo Hammond but former contestant Chuggs has insisted she might be wasting her time.
The PE teacher has yet to fully click with any of the contestants while others have been busy grafting and he's currently in a friendship coupe with Sharon.
There now seems to be hope on the horizon when the beauty queen admitted she had a change of heart and is now interested in getting to know him properly.
However, Chuggs Wallis - who exited the villa after just a couple of days - isn't convinced their relationship will go anywhere as he claims Hugo told him that he "wasn't interested" in his fellow Islander.
Asked about the romance on Simon Gross And Love Island Extra Instagram Show, he said: "No, load of c**p; it’s just convenient. Hugo has told me he wasn’t interested in Sharon in that way."
However, the 23-year-old thinks Hugo - who he knows from uni - will eventually find love in the villa.
He explained: "The tasks with Hugo were harsh but he's a great looking bloke. He's got a chiseled jawline, he’s now a got a full on six pack. At uni it was more six beers.
"Hugo is not struggling. He's just waiting for that girl to give him the time of day. I hope they bring a girl in for him."
Sharon and Hugo had previously rowed after the teacher admitted he didn't like "fake" girls, with the civil servant from Oxfordshire taking offence because she has had lip fillers.
They made up and Hugo chose her at the recoupling as a sign of their renewed friendship.
However, Sharon he admitted to pal Kaz during Tuesday night's episode that she thinks Hugo is "fit" and discussed the chance of a romance between them.
"Sharing a bed this time around is very different," Sharon admitted to her pal.
"I do think he is fit but is it that I just think he’s fit and nothing else?"
But when Kaz said it was obvious that Sharon liked him as a person, she admitted: "I think I did rule it [romance] out in the beginning but I think seeing qualities that were missing in Aaron and seeing them in Hugo has made me really think things through.
"He’s a really good communicator and we talk about everything and anything."
