Love Island's Hugo Hammond 'thrown out of kebab shop' as he tries to break up fight over chips

Love Island's Hugo Hammond was reportedly thrown out of a London kebab shop after attempting to break up a brawl between club-goers over the weekend.

The 25-year-old reality star is seen trying to settle an argument which broke out at Clapham's Tora Kebab near Inferno's nightclub at 4am on Saturday morning, in a video obtained by the Daily Mail.

Hugo was surrounded by a group of girls in the takeaway shop, with one of the ladies caught on camera throwing a polystyrene box of chips into the air towards a crowd of men.

A bystander told the publication that a man "threw a chip at her as a joke" and that she "over-reacted" before the altercation broke out.

"Someone get this bitch out of here, she's crazy!" one anonymous man in the group can be heard shouting in the footage.

Hugo then steps in and tells the customer: "Bro, relax brother. Relax."

The TV star then ushers the girl away from the group, before reappearing.

The onlooker said: "A random man threw a chip at her as a joke. She over-reacted and got in his face shouting, throwing some food at him. He then reacted violently and punched her food out of her hand."

Hugo went over to the young male, but a blonde bombshell saved him from any trouble by standing in between the pair.

Following the feud, the owners of the kebab shop and security from Infernos reportedly turned up and escorted everyone out of the door.

It's claimed Hugo comforted the girls outside of the shop before re-entering and buying them food.

Hugo's new-found celebrity status didn't help during the night out as he was watched and filmed by fans during the brawl.

Since leaving Love Island, he has been charging more than £50 for personalised motivational messages on Cameo.

He's raking in cash by helping people who have gone through their own breakups, and has been delivering pep talks to those who are struggling.

In one message, Hugo says: “Keep being you, that's all you can be.

“Just surround yourself with your nearest and dearest, friends and family, and I'm sure they've got your back. You've got this and I'm sure somebody else is around the corner,” he adds.

The reality star is also available to record personalised birthday messages and announcements on Cameo.

The Mirror has contacted Hugo's representative for a comment.
