Former Love Island contestant Hugo Hammond has claimed that Jake Cornish wanted to get to know Millie Court when she joined the villa, while paired up with Liberty Poole.
Hours before Friday night's emotional episode of the dating series, the former Islander took to his TikTok account to suggest that ITV2 producers deliberately didn't air the incriminating scenes in order to protect "Jiberty."
Posting to his 413,700 followers on the popular social media site, the former teacher shared a short clip of himself looking reflective as Adele's hit single Rolling in the Deep played.
"When Libs pulls you for chats after Jakey wanted to get to know Millie but the show didn't air it to protect "jiberty" and now this happens," the 25-year-old captioned the footage.
The claim comes as Jake and Liberty made history on the reality TV show - becoming the first couple to walk away from the villa, just days before the final.
Fans were confused by Hugo's latest social media update - with some questioning whether he was implying he could have pursed something romantically with the marketing student from Birmingham.
"You would have probably friend zoned her anyway in the end," one TikTok user commented under the star's latest video.
Another wrote: "Come on Hugo...Like that would have happened! You would of [sic] friend zoned her within an hour," to which the Love Island contestant replied with a laughing-face emoji.
The unlucky-in-love Islander elaborated on his initial claims in the comments sections of his original video.
"I don't actually know why it never got aired but this is my assumption," Hugo added underneath the short video.
The Mirror has contacted ITV and Love Island for comment on the star's claims.
Many Love Island fans weren't very impressed with Hugo's attempt of comedy on TikTok - with many slamming the star for "attempting to stay relevant."
"Why is he soo cringeworthy??" one Twitter user asked as the clip gained momentum on the micro-blogging site.
"Hugo trying to stay relevant is embarrassing #loveisland" another quipped, gaining over 1,000 likes on their tweet in just a few hours.
One unhappy fan even urged others to report the star's social media account in response to his staggering claims.
"Everyone just report him please. Get him removed from insta but [sic] the end of the month," they suggested on Twitter on Friday night.
The former villa resident has been spilling the tea on Love Island gossip since leaving the show earlier this summer.
Speaking with Closer Online, the former teacher has previously hinted that Liberty was once interested in him while chatting with fellow dumped islander Lucinda Strafford.
As the pair chatted about the 21-year-old student pulling Hugo for a chat that wasn't shown to the public, Lucinda claimed that the blonde beauty was "exploring her options, wasn't she?" to which Hugo responded: "Yeah, I think so."
The star's time on Love Island came to an end earlier this month, after spending almost six weeks in the villa and failing to find love.
The 25-year-old was left at risk of being booted from the villa after the public didn't select him and partner Amy Day as one of their favourite couples.
The decision was then left to his fellow islanders who opted to call time on the reality TV star's holiday in the sun.
