Love Island's Greg delays vital surgery on rugby injuries back home in Ireland

While he's now one of the most famous people in the UK thanks to winning Love Island, Greg O'Shea is also a rugby player and has revealed he has delayed a vital operation to fix his injuries.

Greg from Limerick in Ireland, triumphed in last week's live Love Island final alongside Geordie girl Amber Gill.

He's had a busy time of things since landing back in the UK, with his schedule including a trip up to Newcastle with Amber and the filming of Love Island's reunion show.

And on Tuesday, Greg and Amber appeared on Loose Women , where they revealed with Amber telling the panel "We're exclusively dating each other - he hasn't asked us yet, but we're going in the right direction."

As well as discussing their relationship status, as you can see in the video above , Greg also confessed that he'd missed a vital operation on his rugby wounds back in Ireland.

He explained "I've got a broken nose and a cracked forehead.

"I was supposed to get home and get the operation done but it just didn't play out.

"Now is the worst time to go and get facial surgery, shave all my hair off and the whole thing."
